SKIM USA × SPICESKATE®
From Event Identity to a Champion’s Award.
Some event awards are made to sit on a shelf.
This one was made to ride.
For the Skim USA event, SpiceSkate® worked with the team to create a custom event board that could do more than carry a logo. The goal was to turn the identity and energy of the event into a distinctive piece that riders would immediately connect with.
Through the SpiceSkate® Co-Lab, the event graphics were translated into a dedicated surfskate design—bringing together Skim USA’s visual identity with SpiceSkate® performance and product craftsmanship.
The result became part of the event itself.
Displayed throughout the competition as a showcase piece, the custom board represented the collaboration between skimboarding culture, creativity and movement. At the end of the event, it took on an even more meaningful role:
the board was presented as the Skim USA Event Champion Award.

For the champion, it was not simply something to hold for a photograph.
It was a one-of-a-kind board connected to the event, the victory and the community behind it—something that could be remembered, displayed and ridden long after the competition was over.

VACA LOCA × SPICESKATE®
From Local Character to a Ride of Its Own.
Some collaborations start with a logo.
Vaca Loca started with a character.
Based in Nicaragua, Vaca Loca runs a skate park and resort built around board-sports culture, community and the freedom of riding. At the heart of their identity is their signature cow character — bold, playful and instantly recognizable.
For the SpiceSkate® Co-Lab, the goal was to take that character beyond branding and turn it into a complete riding experience.
Together, Vaca Loca and SpiceSkate® developed a custom board built around the signature cow graphic, translating the personality of the park and resort into a surfskate that feels distinctly their own.
ONE IDENTITY. TWO WAYS TO RIDE.
The custom Vaca Loca board was paired with two SpiceSkate® performance systems — OktoSURF™ 2 and OktoAIR™ — giving riders two different ways to experience the same collaboration.
With OktoSURF™ 2, the board delivers a deeper, more surf-inspired feel, designed for fluid carving, expressive turns and a more immersive surf-training experience.
With OktoAIR™, the setup becomes more agile and dynamic, with responsive pumping and versatile control suited to skatepark sessions, everyday riding and technical progression.
This combination allows Vaca Loca to showcase more than a custom graphic. It creates a complete platform that reflects the energy of their destination and gives riders the opportunity to experience different styles of SpiceSkate® performance.

SURFSKATESUISSE × SPICESKATE®

A strong surfskate community needs more than events.
It needs the right tools to help riders progress.
SurfskateSuisse is a Swiss surfskate association dedicated to growing the local scene through surfskate events, coaching sessions and rider development.
For this Co-Lab project, SurfskateSuisse worked with SpiceSkate® to create a custom board that represented their own identity while delivering a more advanced riding experience.
The custom deck was paired exclusively with our premium OktoSURF™ 2 system — a performance-focused setup engineered to deliver deeper rail-to-rail movement, responsive carving and a riding sensation inspired by real surfing.

The goal was not simply to create a branded association board.
It was to build a surfskate that could support coaching, training and progression while giving riders a more refined, pro-surfer-inspired experience on land.
With OktoSURF™ 2, the SurfskateSuisse custom board becomes a platform for riders to explore smoother transitions, deeper turns and more expressive surf-style movement.
